Metro Cooking Show is back in Dallas with another big line up of celebrity chefs, over 150 food exhibitors and workshops all weekend and we have two general admission tickets to giveaway! Check out demonstrations by The Chew’s Jason Roberts; actress Debi Mazar (of HBO’s Entourage) and her husband Gabriele Corcos from the Cooking Channel’s Extra Virgin; the Grill Sergeant Brad Turner and the Food Network’s Extreme Chef Terry French. The now infamous, Paula Deen is back to say “hey y’all” and will be joined on stage by her son, Bobby Deen whose show Not My Mama’s Meals is seen on both the Cooking Channel and the Food Network.
The general admission tickets gets you into the exhibitor’s hall where you can sample, peruse and purchase the many foodie finds and support small businesses. Check out my article on Dallas CultureMap on last year’s Big Takeaways from the show like Todd’s Dirt Seasonings to a bra for your pot. If you purchase a cookbook or an apron, you can also line up for book signings from the celebrity chefs (no special ticket required) and attend the many workshops going on. There are separate tickets for VIP events like Bobby Deen’s BBQ where you can have a professional photo taken with Bobby Deen or Paula Deen Photo Op and Brunch.
We are giving away 2 General Admission Tickets (worth $24.50 each) for one day. All you need to do is drop us a comment below and tell us your favorite family restaurant in Dallas. If you Like Us on FaceBook and drop a comment there, you get an bonus entry. If you already “Like Us” then just add a comment on the IttyBittyFoodies Facebook page. The winning entry will be drawn randomly and will be announced on Thursday at 6pm Central Time. Please make sure your email details are correct. YOU MUST BE IN DALLAS FOR THE EVENT SEPTEMBER 21-22, 2013 TO ENTER!
Best of luck!
