Teriyaki Chicken with Peaches Kebabs

by Cheryl Collett, Itty Bitty Foodies - Yummy Adventures with Kids!

Peaches are in season. The best way to select a peach is by smelling it. Choose one with a strong peachy fragrance. The redness on it’s skin is not an indication of ripeness but discard all that have hints of green in it which means they’ve been picked too early. To ripen, place your peach in a brown paper bag for a few days till the flesh gives a little when you squeeze gently. IttyBittyFoodies have long favored peaches and other produce such as the 8 Ball Squash featured on our avatar from Lemley’s at the Dallas Farmer’s Market.

The best way to eat them is simply fresh with ice cream but we also love cooking with our peaches. Try this easy teriyaki chicken with peaches kebabs that’s perfect for our summer grilling weather. Full recipe here at Artizone.

Till our next Happy Meal!
