Healthy Granola Wedge to kick off the New Year!

by Cheryl Collett, Itty Bitty Foodies - Yummy Adventures with Kids!

Honey Crew Wedge

Happy New Year folks! Pikelet & Lollo are back at school this week and I’ve found the perfect healthy snack to pack in their lunches. It’s the Honey Wedge by Honey Crew gal Denise Bethel Molina who also brought us Honey Crew Granola. Pikelet took one bite of it and said he wanted to save it for dessert because it was so good.

Honey Crew Granola comes in different sizes

The 70 grams of yumilicious goodness is made with organic rolled oats, natural deluxe nut mix, organic seed mix, organic coconut, organic cinnamon, organic vanilla extract, local honey, and all natural almond butter.  The lightbulb went off when The Honey Crew Granola fans started asking Molina for a granola bar. The criteria? Something that could travel well, less mess for their kids, good for on the go as well as a satisfying quick treat.  ”For a couple of weeks I tried different versions, it was like a science lab blowing up in my kitchen…until finally I found a combo I fell in love with…which turned out to be all natural freshly ground almond butter and local honey.” She also makes it with agave nectar for those with diabetic issues. $7.50 for a pack of 4.

Pikelet likes his 'ittybitty' size
