If you’d ever wanted to try Chinese cooking at home, stay tuned…

by Cheryl Collett, Itty Bitty Foodies - Yummy Adventures with Kids!

I’ve just won the lottery! Not really but close! I’ve just been selected to be a recipe tester for an upcoming cookbook by Bee Yin Low of Rasa Malaysia. In return, my name goes into the Acknowlegment section of the new cookbook which may be called Easy Chinese. I use Rasa Malaysia a lot when I want to try new Asian recipes so when Low called for recipe testers, I decided to put my hand (or link rather) up.

I’ve been sworn to secrecy about the recipe so all I’m going to say is that it is very child friendly and I’ll be sure to see if it passes the taste test with my itty bitty foodies. The book is due out in Fall of 2011.

Also if you were inspired by my Octopus Tentacles article and want to know more about nyonya food, check out Low’s Nyonya Food website. Lots of new flavors there to try!
